Sonus has assisted Westfield with major expansion assessments at Tea Tree Plaza, Marion, West Lakes and Miranda shopping centres. These construction projects introduced several noise sources that required acoustic treatment including: truck movements and unloading; vehicles using multi-level car parks, patron noise in outdoor eating areas and roof mounted air-conditioning and refrigeration plant.
Acoustic treatment was determined to ensure noise levels associated with the activities achieved the stringent objective noise criteria of the various council requirements.
