The Merchant Apartments is a three-to-five storey, five star green rated apartment building located in the inner west precinct of Bowden, South Australia.
Sonus was engaged to assist in the Green Star assessment of the Merchant Apartments which considered cost effective and innovative solutions to achieve both Green Star credit points in Green Star credit IEQ-7 “Internal noise level”.
The assessment required consideration of the noise from internal and external building services, the external noise intrusion and the acoustic separation between apartments.
