Sonus Engineers provided vibration monitoring services for the civil and demolition works at Lot Fourteen. The works occurred in the vicinity of heritage buildings being Bice Building, McEwin Building and the Eleanor Harrald Building.
Vibration levels were measured while these works were occurring, including construction machinery. The measured vibration levels were compared with structural damage criteria to assist in determining the likelihood of structural damage to heritage buildings.
